If it is "too good to be true" don't buy it. Used car buyers should avoid this kind of transaction. They will make you believe that the deal is the best used car deal ever but the truth is, it is the other way around.

The vehicle identification number plate of the used car must be intact and with no rivets that are loosened. This way you will know that the VIN plate does fit and haven't removed or replaced from the car's dashboard. Also, avoid cars with VIN plates that newly paint and the numbers are not the original numbers. That kind of plate is touched up. VIN plates can be easily swapped by a thief and use those that are taken from a destroyed vehicle. So make sure that the plate is untouched.

Freshly painted used cars are not a good sign. Stolen cars can be changed through repainting them.
